Information gleaned from EW Butler Wills of 1812 & 1819

plus possible conclusions

1812 mentioned

A Daughter - Miss Maria Butler (not yet 18)

A Daughter in Law (step daughter) – Miss Doris Butler (not yet 18)

presumably daughter of wife Harriett by first marriage to Charles Christie

1818 mentioned

A daughter Mrs Pereira (who he disinherits)

Her eldest Daughter – Caroline (maybe Mrs Pereira is his eldest daughter – Caroline)

Lt Nicolasas (maybe Nicholson) who is reported as marrying a daughter - either his or wife’s

Harriet Graham – Widows (Harriet Butler) daughter in law (step daughter) could be a child

from her connection to Charles Christie.

My two other girls Mrs Smythe & Mrs Knox (as will is written in 1818 – must presume they

were born before marriage to Harriet in 1806, therefore by a previous partner.

Son – Edward William – in England for education. (£1000)
